Join Partnership for the Advancement and Immersion of Refugees (PAIR) and the Houston community for a screening of "Pushing the Elephant." This award-winning documentary chronicles the story of a mother and daughter reunited after a decade separated by civil war and is a hopeful chronicle of the refugee experience and acculturation in the U.S. today.
Following the film, local refugee students from PAIR's programs will share a few words about their own journeys to Houston and how PAIR
