Don’t Touch the Fire is a multidisciplinary experience bringing together fine art, fashion, and film. It explores temptation, desire, and consequence. Why we are drawn to things we know may not be good for us, and why we continue to give in. The entire experience takes place within the gallery. Guests begin in a standing room setup and experience a short film alongside a live gallery installation. Models move through the space wearing garments created as part of the collection while installing the artwork as part of the performance. Fashion becomes an element within the installation rather than a separate presentation, allowing film, fashion, and fine art to come together in real time as the gallery transforms around the audience.
After the installation, guests are invited to move freely throughout the gallery and experience the finished exhibition. They can walk through the space, sit with the work, talk, or simply take in the environment at their own pace. Artwork from the exhibition will be available for purchase. Read more
