DiverseWorks is pleased to present the Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts 50th Anniversary Alumni Exhibition, The Happening. Formed in 1971, HSPVA represents the first attempt by any public high school in the nation to correlate an academic program with concentrated training in the arts. DiverseWorks hosted HSPVA’s twenty-fifth anniversary exhibition in 1997 and is proud to recognize the lasting impact of this unique institution.Read more

The Houston Fringe Festival returns live and in-person for the first time in two years! The 2021 festival marks the 14-year anniversary of Houston's very own fringe, featuring dance, music, film, storytelling, drag, and performance art! This year the festival will run for three evenings on October 15-17, and each night will feature a unique roster of fringe artists. Festival passes are available for all three nights. Read more
