The Wild & Scenic Film Festival on Tour, a Citizens’ Environmental Coalition (CEC) Fundraiser, helps us share the awe-inspiring beauty of our world, as well as the work that communities worldwide are doing to protect our shared home. These short to medium length films, which range from a brief celebration of the beauty of the Alaskan Tundra to a story of how various organizations and individuals came together to save the Manatees, inspire joy and increase community understanding of the connection we share with the planet and our role as stewards in keeping it healthy for future generations.Read more

2025 Houston Underwater Film Festival

The Houston Underwater Film Festival (HUFF) aims to promote underwater film making and appreciation of the beauty and diversity of all things underwater as well as encouraging the art of underwater videography. Underwater videographers from around the world are invited to submit entries for consideration for screening.

The top three films in each category, as selected by audience real time voting, will be announced at the Awards Reception on Sunday, April 13. The Judges Top 10 Picks will also be announced.Read more

For one amazing week, Downtown Houston will Fade To Black! 

Emerging from the urgent need to address the departure of Black artists seeking opportunities outside our city, Shabach Enterprise, a minority-led non-profit organization, has created a platform for prominent arts groups in the Downtown Houston district to show unified, meaningful support for the advancement of African-American artists. 

In collaboration with our vibrant arts community, this festival will simultaneously showcase the diverse works of African-American performances in film, music, poetry, and theatre. It will also provide a dynamic lineup of workshops, performances, readings, screenings, and discussions to cultivate a greater appreciation for diverse perspectives.Read more
