Join us for the screening of 3D animated short film, The Man from Oghuz: Harvest, directed by Houston native indie filmmaker Murad Aliyev. The story follows a young warrior from Oghuz who has a chance encounter with a mysterious young woman while passing through a remote forest. They decide to share a fire, for the forest is dark and full of surprises. As the night unfolds and more strangers arrive at the campfire, the atmosphere grows increasingly dangerous. Loyalties are questioned, identities begin to unravel and the fragile balance between trust and suspicion threatens to collapse before dawn.Read more

2026 Houston Underwater Film Festival

The Houston Underwater Film Festival (HUFF) aims to promote underwater film making and appreciation of the beauty and diversity of all things underwater as well as encouraging the art of underwater videography. Underwater videographers from around the world are invited to submit entries for consideration for screening.

The top three films in each category, as selected by audience real time voting, will be announced at the Awards Reception on Sunday, April 13. The Judges Top 10 Picks will also be announced.Read more
