El corazón del incauto

Dramaturgas: Sandra Franzen & Patricia Suárez; Directora: Georgina Palencia

"The Heart of the Gullible" is a poetic and piercing drama that plunges into the depths of desire, identity, and sacrifice. Set in rural Argentina in the 1920s, a farming couple weaves dreams of family and redemption, while truth emerges like a wound too deep to mend. What begins as a yearning for love and belonging transforms into a dance between tenderness and betrayal, where each stitch in a dress unveils forbidden threads. A moving tale that beats with the pulse of those brave enough to love beyond the rules.

It's about one moment. It's about hitting the wall and having to make a choice... or take a stand... or turn around and go back. These are the stories and characters of today, the Songs for a New World. The first musical from Tony Award winner, Jason Robert Brown (Parade, The Last 5 Years, Bridges of Madison County), this moving collection of powerful songs examines life, love and the choices that we make.

Brown transports his audience from the deck of a 1492 Spanish sailing ship to a ledge 57 stories above Fifth Avenue, meeting a startling array of characters that range from a young man who has determined that basketball is his ticket out of his humble beginnings to a woman whose dream of marrying rich nabs her the man of her dreams... and a soulless marriage. Read more

Tamarie's Greatest Hits, Volume 3

By Tamarie Cooper & Patrick Reynolds; Directed and Choreographed by Tamarie Cooper

WORLD PREMIERE

“TAMALALIA FOREVER!”

As every good Houstonian knows, Tamarie Cooper creates another in a series of wholly original, full-scale musicals every summer—a Houston institution with a cult following—featuring wildly irreverent scripts, riotously funny songs, wackadoodle dances, spectacular sets, large casts of quadruple-threat performers, a small but mighty band, and of course Houston’s own Carol Burnett, Lucille Ball, and Bugs Bunny rolled into one, the undefeated champion of ass-clownery, Tamarie Cooper, co-star Kyle Sturdivant forever at her side, chewing up all her expensive scenery.

What you might not know is that every ten years, Tamarie creates a Greatest Hits show, featuring the best moments from a decade of really great moments with a ridiculous new script and a couple brand-spanking new songs to tie the whole thing together.

The very first Tamalalia, premiered in a two-night stand on the tiny Orange Show stage in the summer of 1996. This summer marks a major milestone: 30 dang years of all-new Tamarie Cooper Shows. (World premiere.)

Seriously, how does Tamarie Cooper not have her own HBO series?– Broadway World

With students always “on,” the show explores identity, pressure, and connection in a hyper-visible world—while still capturing the heart, humor, and joy that make High School Musical so iconic.Read more
