The concept of AMBITION takes inspiration from a rock landscape with a descriptive story of how it fell 5 times in the creation process, but finally stood strong on the 6th attempt. AMBITION is a show calling us to empty our thoughts and transform in body and spirit according to God's Will and design.

The evening opens with a dynamic showcase of Asian dance, jazz, and modern works performed by our emerging artists and company members. The second act features an abridged presentation of Swan Lake, beautifully performed by DAA’s talented dancers.

Mind The Gap was created in partnership with Midtown Arts & Theater Center Houston to support independent choreographers and small dance companies presenting their work. Begun in January 2017, Mind The Gap has provided a platform for more than 150 local dancemakers to date. The program helps choreographers propel their works from the studio to the stage and exposes audiences to new dance makers and styles.Read more
